Team

Dr Vanessa Lee B.V.Sc. - Veterinarian

After graduating from University of Sydney in 2010, Vanessa moved to Wollongong and worked at a small animal clinic for a couple of years before deciding to move back to Sydney and join us here at Chatswood in 2013. She enjoys every aspect of small animal medicine and surgery but she has a particular interest in cats and their welfare. She has a chubby ginger cat “Cinnabon”, named after her favourite dessert (unavailable in Australia, sadly).
Born in South Korea and raised in several different countries, she speaks fluent English, Korean and moderate Indonesian. She works at Chatswood Vetfriends on full-time basis and is eager to meet new people and new furry friends everyday.

Dr. Tash Bilous B.V.Sc. - Veterinarian

Tash graduated from Sydney University in 1999. Since then she has worked in rural and city practice in Sydney, the UK and Hong Kong. Tash has worked at Vetfriends Chatswood since it opened in 2005.

Tash works part time, she is available on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Tash lives with her husband, two beautiful kids and a wonderfully trained Labrador called Arky and a burmese cat called Misty.

Dr. Peter Coote B.V.Sc. - Veterinarian

Peter graduated from the University of Sydney. Initial years were in rural practice then became a small animal practitioner, with a period in Hong Kong.

He returned to become a principal of Ku-Ring-Gai Veterinary Hospital for 30 years then spent time in the UK before joining Chatswood Vetfriends in 2010.

Come in and see Peter at the clinic on Fridays and every 3rd weekend.

Dr Jessica Sue B.V.Sc. - Veterinarian

Jessica graduated from the University of Sydney in 2010. Since then she worked full time at a small animal clinic in Sydney's southwest. In the last 6 months Jessica has enjoyed doing locum work at various vet hospitals around Sydney and has recently joined Vetfriends in September 2014 on some weekends and occasional weekdays.

Jessica has always loved animals and thoroughly enjoys the challenges involved in bringing them back to health and caring for their welfare. Jessica looks forward to meeting new clients and their furry loved ones.
